Our Story

A Legacy of Excellence Since 1999

St. Maria Goreti Secondary School is a non-governmental school formed and managed by the Sisters of Our Lady of Kilimanjaro of the Catholic Diocese of Moshi. The founders had a great vision for the young people of Tanzania, establishing the school in 1999 in Moshi Municipality, Kilimanjaro Region.

Located approximately 1.2 km from Moshi town center along the Uru road, the school has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the leading academic institutions in Tanzania. For over two decades, we have been dedicated to providing holistic education that develops the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of every student.

Our core goal is to create a better future for women in African society, empowering young girls through quality education, faith, and character formation.
